The Azoetia: A Grimoire of the Sabbatic Path. Third Edition. (STANDARD EDITION) (New)
by Chumbley, Andrew D
Publisher: Xoanon Publishing Ltd
Binding: Hardcover with dust jacket
Book ID: XOANAZ3, XOANAZ3
From the publisher: As the incepting text of Xoanon Limited, Andrew D. Chumbley's visionary book was first published in 1992 and is regarded as the foundation text of the Sabbatic Craft Tradition. The second edition of 2002 sold out within months of its release. Since then, exorbitant prices on the second hand market have prevented ownership of this essential text. In response to the growing interest in this work, and as part of the conservation and dissemination of the magical texts of the Cultus Sabbati, Xoanon Limited is pleased to announce the third edition of The Azoetia, the first of three major book releases for calendar year 2015.
The grimoire Azoetia is comprised of three main parts: an exposition of preliminary magico-aesthetic formulae with detailed descriptions of working instruments; the full text of the Sabbatic Rituals of Ingress, Congress, and Egress; and an eleven-chaptered grimoire detailing the arcana and composite practices of the Sacred Alphabet -- the twenty-two lettered code of sorcerous principles underlying the practical spectrum of the Arte Magical. The entire work intends the reification of traditional British cunning-craft praxis according to the spiritual vision and artistry of a contemporary initiate.
The Third Edition presents the complete text of the 'Sethos Edition' of 2002, being the definitive recension of the work. Original images have been digitally conserved and the whole has been freshly typeset, printed offset lithography on 70 lb cream acid-free archival stock, octavo format. Design and materials are of the highest standard, for which XOANON is well known.
There are three editions issued:
- A Standard Edition of 1,000 hand-numbered copies in black cloth with dust jacket, with custom endpapers.
- A Deluxe Edition of 111 hand-numbered copies in half crimson goat, marbled endpapers, and slipcase.
- A Special Edition of 22 copies in full alum-tawed goat, hand-marbled endpapers and gilt-blocked slipcase, each copy bearing the sign of one of the twenty-two Sacred Letters of the Azoetic contimuum.

The Voynich Manuscript
Yale University Press
Many call the fifteenth-century codex, commonly known as the Voynich Manuscript, the world s most mysterious book. Written in an unknown script by an unknown author, the manuscript has no clearer purpose now than when it was rediscovered in 1912 by rare books dealer Wilfrid Voynich. The manuscript appears and disappears throughout history, from the library of the Holy Roman Emperor Rudolf II to a secret sale of books in 1903 by the Society of Jesus in Rome. The book s language has eluded deciphe...More

Neil Gaiman has long been inspired by ancient mythology in creating the fantastical realms of his fiction. Now he turns his attention back to the source, presenting a bravura rendition of the great northern tales.
In Norse Mythology, Gaiman stays true to the myths in envisioning the major Norse pantheon: Odin, the highest of the high, wise, daring, and cunning; Thor, Odin's son, incredibly strong yet not the wisest of gods; and Loki--son of a giant--blood brother to Odin and a trick...
