Victorian “waistcoat-pocket” format (5 1/2 by 4 inch) hardcover in its original full black pebbled morocco leather binding with tuck-in flap, all edges gilt. * A touch of very light wear to edges, a bit of light rubbing to leather, the odd page showing shadow of flap where it was used as a bookmark (leather is organic and always slightly acidic), o/w remarkably preserved NEAR FINE CONDITION. *** This or the 1st Edition are the preferred editions, since all subsequent editions were revised and heavily edited by Harold Sander. All of the dialogues and actions of the full rituals for the three degrees are given in full without any coding to hide key words, as is often the case in ritual books of this sort.
