The Origins of the Rosicrucian Society of England (Used)
by Kuntz, Darcy (ed)
Publisher: Golden Dawn Research Trust
Book ID: 9780973442489, 0973442484
The research material for the study of the early history of the S.R.I.A. is scarce and tends to be available only to members of the Society itself.
While Mr. Darcy Kuntz was in London, England in 1997, he tracked down a number of the early histories and now makes them available to a greater audience.
This book was published to celebrate the release of "The Golden Dawn Temple Manual" at the Esoteric Book Conference (Seattle, WA, September 19-20, 2009) and a copy was give with each book sold (while supplies lasted.) The Golden Dawn Research Trust does not plan to re-issue this book.
Some highlights of the book:
- Bruce Wilson's important article "The Origin of Our Rosicrucian Society" and its connection with the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.
- "The Origins of Scottish Rosicrucianism" by M.W. Frater J.F. Birrell -- an important early history.
- "The Rosicrucian Society in Europe" by R. W. Felkin -- printed for the first time.
- The Bristol S.R.I.A. Certificate designed by Benjamin Cox in 1871.
