The Seven Rays Made Visual: An Illustrated Introduction to Teaching of Djwhal Khul & Alice A. Bailey (Used)
by Burmester, Helen
Publisher: DeVorss & Company
Book ID: 9780875165639, 087516563X
THE SEVEN RAYS MADE VISUAL is both introduction and companion to the monumental 5-volume TREATISE ON THE SEVEN RAYS as given to Alice A. Bailey by the Tibetan master Djwhal Khul. After five decades, these volumes continue to be in demand by new students of their profound and comprehensive message.
The Seven Rays are the building forces and sum total of all that exists in space, responsible also for the evolution of consciousness. Their teachings provide a key to a preliminary understanding of the Divine Plan of Creation on cosmic, solar, planetary, human, and subhuman levels, and of our place in the scheme as a whole. It is a holistic approach, a synthesis of invisible and visible worlds.
HELEN S. BURMESTER came to the US from Germany in 1938 where she attended college in Illinois and later went on to earn her M.A. in Education at New York University in 1944. It was her late husband, Ernest (who worked with Alice A. Bailey), who introduced Helen to the writings of Bailey and the Tibetan Master Djwhal Khul.
The Burmesters moved to California, where Helen taught in the San Bernardino High School system and continued her studies of the Bailey books. After retirement from teaching, she undertook a more intensive study of Khul’s work and became associated with Meditation Groups, Inc, in Ojai, California.

The Voynich Manuscript
Yale University Press
Many call the fifteenth-century codex, commonly known as the Voynich Manuscript, the world s most mysterious book. Written in an unknown script by an unknown author, the manuscript has no clearer purpose now than when it was rediscovered in 1912 by rare books dealer Wilfrid Voynich. The manuscript appears and disappears throughout history, from the library of the Holy Roman Emperor Rudolf II to a secret sale of books in 1903 by the Society of Jesus in Rome. The book s language has eluded deciphe...More
