LA: Philosophers Press, first edition, 1938, quarto, [15"x10"], red cloth with gilt cross on front cover, 114pp, vg. Numerous B&W and color illustrations (some on glossy stock) from early books and manuscripts of the order, including: a B&W folding and extending magical calendar of Tycho Brahe; a color double plate derived from the symbols of Basil Valentine and a B&W plate of the great cross of the Rosicrucian adepts, neither of which appear in the earlier D.O.M.A. versions; and many pages with both English (black) and Latin (red) from the original manuscripts; with text illustrations. A large handsome production. The text is in perfect condition, the binding is a bit marked and lightly stained. Autographed. The reprint is somewhat smaller, and on cheaper paper.
